Upcycled Robin

Hi everyone.  I have a  simple Christmas card today made by upcycling one of last year's cards featuring a beautiful robin which I thought was too cute not to be reused.

All I did was to die cut the piece with a square stitched die and then die cut the red layer using a snippet of card with the next size up to make a mat for it and made a kraft card base on which I stamped a sentiment using Versafine Satin Red Ink heat embossed with WOW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder.

Thank you for your visit today and I'll see you again soon.

I am entering the following challenge:

Rudolph Days February Challenge - Anything Goes.
Snippets Playground Challenge -  Where we use our snippets of card and paper etc.

  3. A super piece of recycling Pat. I agree he’s a really gorgeous robin and deserves a new card to perch on.

I’m commenting on Sunday morning, so if you trampoline into the Playground treehouse, I’ll bring you over a nice mug of tea or coffee with a couple of hot buttered crumpets for brekkie! Xxx

  8. Loving your upcycled robin make ... I always think it's such a waste to just check cards away at the end of the Christmas period so well done on repurposing yours. Looks great with the cheery red sentiment too
