On your first card, it looks so magical against the smooshy background ... almost as though it could drift off the ocean and continue it's journey into the endless sky! The stencilling around it and in the background on your Best Wishes card adds a delicious sense of splashy-ness and watery-ness ... brilliant! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Twofer! The first is probably my favourite purely because I love the randomness achieved with DI's and the fact they are two of my favourite colours in the range. The second one has a more structured feel with the use of the stencil to tone down the colours and draw the eye to the focal element.

Many thanks for joining in with our 'Boys and Men' theme at Penny Black and More challenge.

B xbrendahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08768329329811996308noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-831669790496040173.post-76963692760248909622019-08-14T03:45:19.158+01:002019-08-14T03:45:19.158+01:00that steampunk boat is so cute, and love your back...that steampunk boat is so cute, and love your backgrounds :)Christine Alexanderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04643022474140754424noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-831669790496040173.post-68577792771847511182019-08-14T02:27:00.950+01:002019-08-14T02:27:00.950+01:00You nailed the colors of the sea with both of thes...You nailed the colors of the sea with both of these stunning designs, Pat! I think that steam punk image is the cutest, most delightfully whimsical steam punk boat I have ever seen! Such fun! I am in love with the colors you achieved on that birthday card background and the way you did your stitched matting! And your Brusho results using that Splash stencil for your second card turned out great! You finished it perfectly with the overall blending and inking of the edges. I also love the subtle stenciling you did for the background inside your circle! Two thoughtfully designed and well-executed cards!! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #19!
