Oh Christmas Tree

Hi there.  I am just about in time to get my entry in to this month's Rudolph Days Challenge run by Mo over at Scraps of Life by Scrappymo.  I was thinking that I had got a couple more days forgetting it is a shorter month, though one day longer this year as it is a leap year.   I have made this card using a Crafty Individuals Large Christmas Tree (CI-460) stamped using Versafine Olympia Green which to be truthful is so dark it looks black on the kraft card.  I also stamped the sentiment using the same ink and then heat embossed both using WOW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder.

I decided to add some stars using a freebie stencil which I have had for ages, and added Brilliance White Ink through it using a piece of blending foam.  I then accentuated some of them with a Signo Gel Pen and I also used this for the snow on the tree and some falling snow.

Thanks for visiting today and I hope you will come back again soon.

I am entering the following challenge:

February Rudolph Days Challenge - Anything Christmas goes.
Watercooler Wednesday Challenge - No. 260 All About Occasions.  (Great to be chosen as one of the 'Rockers' for this challenge)
Simon Says Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes.
Winter Wonderland Challenge - Anything Christmas Goes.

This is gorgeous Pat. I love the use of Kraft card and this CI stamp works beautifully on it. I also love the addition of the stars. You should add this one to the CI FB page. They have a dedicated album for Christmas cards x

I somehow missed this gorgeous card when you posted it, Pat. The beautiful Christmas tree looks great on kraft. I love you starry stencilled background, especially the way you positioned and large one behind the tree. xx
