Hi there everyone. I have been bitten by the bug...zentangle that is..lol. I have made another card using a style of zentangle I have seen on line and I used a piece of scrap which I think must have been used to roll off my brayer during a gel printing session, and which has been sitting for a long while waiting for an occasion to be used.
I pencilled the design on to the piece of inked scrap freehand, with a bit of rubbing out and correction to get the heart shapes the way I wanted them, and then went over the lines with my 03 size Black Micron Pen. I don't feel confident enough yet to go in with the pen from the start but being someone who likes to be as accurate as possible I find it easier with the lines established with the pencil first..not quite the idea of doodling but I will try to be more relaxed as I improve. I then used a pink, purple and white Inktense pencil with a waterbrush to add some colour. I finished by adding a sentiment using Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink and heat embossed with WOW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder and added it to a 7" x 5" card.
Thank you for visiting my blog today and I hope to see you again soon.

A great anniversary card, lovely to see some tangling. I've not done any of that for ages but became quite involved at one time and found it a very relaxing thing to do.
This is amazing Pat, I love the zen tangled hearts, your design is wonderful and makes a beautiful anniversary card, Kate x
Like Val I did have a go at tangling years ago. I always drew in pencil first and then in the black pen. I like your very original heart design and the colours. Hugs Mrs A.
It looks like an absorbing and intricate design Pat and makes for a really unique wedding or anniversary card. So nice to see you at River of Creativity, thanks so much for joining us.

Fabulous Zentangling, Pat. I love how you’ve coloured the pattern, beautiful colours. xx
Another wonderful card Pat and that background is just perfect for the design that you've used. You've definitely been bitten by the bug and I'm enjoying seeing your makes. Have a wonderful Christmas Pat and all the very best for 2022 x
Gotta love a "tangle" and this one is splendid, Pat

So eye catching and your Zentangling looks amazing. Yes I would have to do the pencilling first too Pat. Stunning card x.
Beautiful Zentangling, I can't imaging doing something like that without a pencil :)
I's a beautiful design and the colours match perfectly with your lovely background! I can understand your hesitation to work directly on the paper with the Micronpen, I would draw lines first too. Wonderful card!
Great doodle and great use of a mop up paper, they really do make the very best backgrounds don't they! Thank you for adding to the flow at River of Creativity xx
