This card uses a lovely Claritystamp set called Winter Wonderland. These stamps by Barbara Gray are some of the best made and designed stamps I have ever seen. For those of you who do not know anything about Clarity, these stamps have Barbara's patented handle and are clear photopolymer, hence the name.
I used Black Archival ink and white stamping card, and for the shadows Memento
London Fog which seemed a little pale so I then added a bit of Memento
Tuxedo Black which I also used over the foliage around the top and
sides, applied with blending foam. The foliage is actually the branches of the tree stamp.
To finish I mounted on black card and the on to an approximately 6 inch square card. I decided to leave the sentiment off the card as I thought it was probably better to put a sentiment on just the inside.
I am entering the following challenges:
Claritystamp where the challenge is Monochromatic.
Pixie's Crafty Workshop where the challenge is to use snippets/scraps of paper and card, and I have used snippets of white and black card.
Thanking you for looking at my blog today.

This is beautiful, really beautiful. xx Thank you for entering our Clarity Challenge and good luck. xx
This is spectacular. I didn't see where you said but I'm guessing you did some sponging with the gray for the shadow effects. It is beautiful Pat. I've tried that, not always so successfully, so I'm really impressed with how pretty you achieved those shadows. Really a pretty stamp and you've used it to the max effect on this card. Love it! LOVE this, Pat... what a striking creation... and looking just perfect in monochrome.
