Hi there everyone. I am back with my entry for the CAS Watercolour Card Challenge, and the theme this time is Ocean so I have used these fun Funky Fish, part of a set from Chocolate Baroque.
I started by making an underwater background using Brushos in Turquoise, Emerald Green and Ultramarine, well watered down to give a nice washy look.
I then stamped the Jellyfish twice onto a piece of white card.using Versmark Ink and heat embossed the images in WOW Silver Metallic Embossing Powder. I watercoloured them with my Distress Inks using Fossilized Amber, Carved Pumpkin and Blueprint Sketch and fussy cut them out.
I cut a white overlay and die cut a circle from it using a set from The Works, and placed the watercoloured background behind it before fixing it down on a 6" square white base card.
I added a sentiment from a Crafty Individuals set called Seaside Treasures which I thought went well, again using Silver EP, and then mounted the two Jellyfish either side of it letting them overlap the white layer a little bit.
Thank you for stopping by my blog today and I'll see you again soon.
I am also entering the following challenges:
Happy Little Stampers June Watercolour Challenge - Anything Goes (no twist).
The Artistic Stamper June Challenge - Colour it Blue (I hope this is considered to be enough blue with my ocean background).
Fashionable Stamping Challenge - Seaside.

Gorgeous Pat. The Brusho background look great through the aperture and the two Jellyfish add a perfect contrast in colour. I also really like the sentiment in gold which is complimented by the touch of gold embossing on the Jellyfish. The gold and blue work beautifully together too, it’s a lovely card. Crafty hugs, Sandra x
Hello Pat, what a fabulous card, I love the jelly fish images and your heat embossing and your background with those ocean colours is wonderful, a super design altogether, Kate x

Maybe the comment notification problem ?might? be resolved (Thanks to our buddy Darnell's instructions). Love this seascape. Your brusho background is lovely, and I like the metallic embossing with the orange-y shades of DI. It's a great color contrast to the peaceful blue of the sea. Great fussy cutting too, Pat with a pretty aperture design. TFS & happy wkend. Hugs
Jelly fish under your gorgeous sea is perfect for the challenge. It looks like you are watching the jelly fish thru a porthole...cool! TFS Pat and joining us at CAS Watercolour. Hugs..
WOW! Beautiful card. I love the combination of colors, blue and yellow-brown. Your jellyfish are so beautiful, and the idea to cut them out and stick in this way gave an amazing end result.

You always come up with the most interesting techniques Pat, along with great instructions! I'm sorry I've not been around much! Thank you for your sweet comment. For some reason I haven't been getting e-mail notifications of comments from Blogger? It was purely by accident I discovered a load of unpublished comments when I was looking for something else on my blog??
