I cut a background from a snippet of white card and using the stencil I ink blended through it with Spun Sugar Distress Ink. I placed it towards the top left hand side of the card and reaching just beyond the centre as it is a large stencil and I didn't want to cover the whole of the background with it, and I also inked up the edges with the same ink. I cut a heart using a further snippet of white card and I embossed it with the same stencil to give it a bit of texture, and then I blended ink onto another snippet using Wilted Violet DI and cut the filigree heart. I finished by adding a sentiment stamped in the Wilted Violet and heat embossed with WOW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder.
Thank you for stopping by today and I'll see you again soon.

Very elegant Pat, the well placed soft stencil work adds a nice dimension to the die cut hearts, many thanks for sharing at Allsorts challenge.

A lovely anniversary card Pat. I like the gentle stencilling on the background, and the hearts are very pretty.
Thanks for coming to play in the Snippets Playground. See you up in the treehouse shortly. xxx
A lovely anniversary card and what a pretty filigree heart this is. Thank you for sharing it with us at Allsorts
How lovely is that partly stenciled background in soft rose. The embossing on the white heaert and the purple filigree heart match very well with that. Beautiful and elegant result!
Beautiful card!!!
You go to the head of the class today, Pat! This is beautiful and romantic and I love that you used a stencil and ink-blended, and you embossed, and you die-cut, and you stamped!⭐Thank you for using this week's I.D.E.A.S. Calendar and linking in the gallery there and at NBUS to motivate and inspire others! Hugs, Darnell
Beautiful and elegant anniversary card, Pat! Love the soft sponged stenciling in the background and your gorgeous hearts. I think I embossed with a stencil only once, a long time ago. I need to do it again! :) xx
Gorgeous card Pat, I love the purple die cut and the delicate stencilling makes a perfect background.

Beautifully elegant card and such a pretty colour combo xx
That is so very pretty! I love the look of the purple heart die cut over the embossed die cut over the stencilling - just beautiful.
What a lovely card Pat - using so many techniques yet still very elegant.
Hugs
