Hi there everyone. This card started from a piece of copy paper this time, not kitchen towel..lol, and which I had used to mop up some Distress Ink on my gelli plate a while ago. This was well diluted Peacock Feathers, which I thought looked too pretty to waste. I used a lovely floral stamp from a set by Chocolate Baroque called Autumn Poppy. Here it is:
I stamped the image using Versafine Majestic Blue Ink and coloured it using Spectrum Noir pencils. I used my set of Tonic Scalloped Square Nesting Dies to cut the top layer then another layer from blue card using the next largest die and layered them up on a 6" square white card. I finished it with the sentiment also stamped with the same blue ink.
Before I go I would like to introduce my new follower Jenny whose blog you will find here. She makes very varied and beautiful cards, and I'm sure some of you will know her from being on the DT over at Mo's Rudolph Days Challenge.
