I cut the star out using the largest stitched die and used the cut into the card die for the pretty central area. I decided to add a piece of silver behind and decided to use my Versamark and heat embossed with WOW Silver Glitter Embossing Powder and cut it with the slightly smaller die to add behind the ornate white front die cut. I stuck this together and added a piece of foam to the back to give it a bit more dimension, and also added some Wink of Stella around the outside edge. I then embossed the Quilt EF and tried highlighting the stitched lines on it with some Pebeo Silver Gilding Wax using a piece of tissue over my finger and rubbing it gently, but as the stitches aren't very raised it did go on the background a bit, but decided it still looked pretty. I then remembered I have a Sakura Starlight Pen which gives a sparkly finish, and so I when over all the stitches with this and was happier with the look. I finished this by cutting into a square and added a silver mirri layer behind it. I placed the quilted layer onto the 6" square card and heat embossed the sentiment below using WOW Silver Metallic EP, and finally added the star to the centre.
If anyone has the TH Quilted EF and has achieved better results, perhaps you could let me know what you did. It is still pretty but isn't quite what I had imagined it would look like.
Thank you for visiting me here today and I'll see you again soon.

that's such a pretty die and is beautifully framed with your stitched background.
Your card is fantastic! Thank you for joining the Holly and Ivy Christmas Challenge. Anita DT
That's a really pretty star and you are right Di is good at finding some of the more interesting crafty bits and pieces and sharing the source. Shame you were disappointed with the embossing folder. 3D folders from different makers seem to vary greatly in what 'sandwich' they need to give a good effect and I find they do often give somewhat mixed (and disappointing) results. I've not come across this particular one so can't help but hopefully someone else will have something to say about it.
A very pretty star and lovely card in white tones! The silver brings out the intricate design and I also love the mall edge in silver.
I'm sorry the embossing folder is a disappointment. Usually the TH products are very good stuff. May you could try to spray the paper lightly with water before embossing, I find that enhances the 3D effect with folders like this. Bus it is also very nice like it is on your card.
Beautiful card Pat, Di certainly does a good job enabling crafters. 🤣 The star and embossing is lovely, but I can see why you were frustrated when an embossing folder isn’t what you were expecting.

It's a shame you are disappointed with the effect of the EF, it still adds to the wonderful star and the overall effect of your gorgeous card, though. x
What a beautiful card Pat, even although you were a bit disappointed with the EF, I think it's lovely and the star is gorgeous, It's a very elegant card, Kate x
So beautiful and sparkly Pat!! Love it done in silver and white. Very elegant and classy. Great design with the quilted background. Love the gilding wax you've added. xx
Such an eyecatcher, xoxo
What a gorgeous card Pat. So sparkly and the white star is brilliant. Good old Di for coming through for you. She's a star too!
What a shame about the 3D embossing folder not working out as you hoped. But I like how it's turned out on this background. Can't give any tips as I don't own any 3D EFs! Hope someone can shed some light on it for you xxx
Beautiful card - what a lovely die!
Thanks for playing at the ABC Christmas Challenge!
